Telemedicine and electronic prescriptions are fully legal under Ministerial Decision 7686/2025. The doctor can: a)Conduct a medical assessment only if, in their professional judgment, the information provided through the service is sufficient. b)Issue electronic prescriptions when medically appropriate. c)Recommend an in-person visit or additional tests, if needed. Note: Telemedicine is a safe way to consult a doctor remotely, but it does not replace an in-person examination. The doctor decides whether a remote assessment is sufficient or if an in-person visit or additional tests are required.
